Ministering to Soldiers is an honor and a privilege, but under the uniform, they are people just like you and I. They carry with them goals, a hunger for fulfillment, wounds of their past, and fears of the future. Please pray for the Soldiers at Ft. Hood, their families, their mission, and their identity as sons and daughters of our great God and Commander in Chief, Jesus.
I can’t believe that a year of labor has come and gone. Below are pictures of the labor that has taken place on Fort Hood. I’ll be honest, a lot of the laboring has come from insiders stationed here. I am grateful to the outreach these Soldiers have committed themselves to. To mention a few: Rachel, who helps me lead the Hood ministry (with a special focus on the women’s ministry) is astounding in her capacity to work as an active duty Optometrist all the while ministering to other women. She has been the back bone in inviting a lot of Soldiers to our Friday night bible study and is a God send here at Hood. Sheldon, a 1 LT, though he got here late (dec 2020), has been a like minded partner in helping me labor after Soldiers here at Hood. I look forward to seeing the impact God will have through him. Sean, who I roomed up with the first 6months, has brought his culinary cooking skills to the ministry. He has such a heart to serve here at our study, but also in his home. He recently served 15 of us to include 2 families and their kids with a fantastic Easter lunch. Here soon, God has placed on his heart to start a men’s study. Prayers please!
Your help and prayers is going a long way! Soldiers are being equipped with the life giving word of Jesus and taking it to there companies. We couldn’t do this without you!
